After developing a serious love for mathematics in the later parts of my high school life, I decided to make it a main focus of interest upon my entrance to the sixth form level. It was during this time at sixth form that I was encouraged by one of the teachers at the school to pursue Mathematics as an area of career interest because of the abilities I possessed in this discipline at the time. Taking this advice, I decided to apply to the University of Guyana to pursue a bachelor’s of science degree in the said field (mathematics). After completing the degree and passing with flying colours I became a teacher of mathematics at a number of schools (presidents college, school of the nations and chase academy) and at the university of Guyana , where I’ve been employed for the last year ( inclusive of full time and part time employment ). My qualifications include a BSc in mathematics from the University of Guyana. Although I have a passion for mathematics and statistics it is not my only area of interest as I also have a love for sports and fitness. If I am not found at home expanding my knowledge in the area of math and stat I can be found at a gym expanding the size of my muscles.
