Eric Stoll is an entomologist and ecologist. He graduated from the University of Guyana, with his BSc in Biology in 2020. Mr. Stoll later joined the University of Guyana in 2021 where he currently works as a scientific officer.  His main duties and responsibilities are the identification, preservation, and verification of specimens, maintenance of the museum collections, and research. Mr. Stoll is also attached to the Department of Biology department where he facilitates laboratory exercises and tutorial sessions. 
His research includes work with terrestrial and aquatic insects heavily focusing on the diversity and ecology of insects which is an unstudied area in Guyana. His most recent work investigated the link between insect diversity and abundance with the degree of forest degradation from mining.
