Holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Guyana and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from the Council of Legal Education. He first joined the Department of Law in 2021. Prior to joining the University of Guyana he was a private legal practitioner and served as Stipendiary Magistrate in Guyana, Chief Magistrate in Antigua and Barbuda, Presiding Judge in Saint Lucia and Chief Justice of Belize.
