Holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Economics (Distinct), a graduate diploma in Development Studies (Distinction) and Commonwealth Master of Business Administration from the University of Guyana, and a Master of Public Administration from the Columbia University. He joined the Department of Economics in 2013. Previously he served as an Economist with the Ministry of Finance and the Guyana Forestry Commission and a Consultant with the Latin America Centre for Monetary Studies and BkP Development Munich, Germany.
