Holds a Diploma in Public Communication and Bachelor of Social Sciences (Communication) (Distinction) from the University of Guyana. She joined the Centre for Communication Studies in 2010. In addition to the Centre for Communication Studies she also lectures in the Department of Foundation and Education Management in the Faculty of Education and Humanities. Prior to joining the faculty she served as private school teacher and as a Coordinator with the Ethnic Relations Commission and United Nations Development Programme.
