The Department of Language and Cultural Studies will be hosting the next edition of its Monthly Public Talks on Monday, 7 March, 2022, at 16:00hrs via Zoom.

This month the feature will be a guest reading and lecture from writer Thomas Harding discussing his recently published book White Debt: The Demerara Uprising and Britain's Legacy of Slavery which examines the 1823 rebellion in success and its immediate effects. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
