The Department of Research and Graduate Studies offers the Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (DipEd) and the Master of Education (M.Ed.).

The principal goal of the DipEd is to provide professional training to untrained graduate teachers, university lecturers, and other graduates who are in the field of Education. Hence, the primary concern is with developing a professional approach to teaching, characterized by creativity, imagination and the pursuit of professional and personal development.

The M.Ed. provides advanced educational preparation for graduate educators in schools, university system, corporate training entities, and those aspiring to complete a doctoral degree in education. Teachers at the primary, secondary levels and educators in the Ministry of Education and corporate training departments will experience a higher and enhanced quality of teacher/training of trainer education, through exposure to the degree programme.
