ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Welcome to the department of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics. Our efforts are aimed at providing our students with the best educational exposures in the related fields. The program offerings include the Associate Degrees in Mathematics as well as Physics where the entry requirements are excellent grades in related subjects at the CSEC examinations or equivalent. Obtaining a high Grade Point Average in these programs will lead to matriculation into the more advanced Bachelor’s Degrees in Mathematics, in Physics and in Statistics. The programs offered utilize ICT and are designed to meet the needs of a variety of career options including educators, researchers, consultants and postgraduate studies. Further our students are exposed to state of the art equipment and facilities as well as some of the best lecturers in the fields. The ideal graduate will be equipped with both a competitive knowledge base and the desired skills required by related industries.
