Please be informed that the University of Guyana library is undergoing a roof rehabilitation project, which commenced on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Due to the nature of the work being undertaken, we kindly request that all staff and students refrain from parking or walking in the areas where construction activities are ongoing.

Despite the placement of caution tapes around the construction site of the building, it has been observed that some individuals have been seen bypassing these barriers. We want to emphasize that this behavior is not only unsafe but also demonstrates a disregard for the safety measures put in place.
 

The Office of Occupational Health and Safety urges everyone to adhere strictly to the safety protocols. For your safety and the safety of others, please avoid the restricted areas and follow all posted warnings and instructions.
