Dr. Onohomo Adebo (also known as Dr. Omo) grew up and had her early education in the ancient city of Benin Kingdom. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria in 2000. Thereafter, during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year she served and taught as a clinical supervisor at the Imo State University, Optometry Department. Dr. Adebo also served as a Clinical Optometrist at the Vitreous and Retina Unit of N.M.C. Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Adebo lecturers at the University of Guyana, in the Bachelor of Science in Optometry Program. She is also currently studying for her Master’s in Public Health at the University of Roehampton, London.
