Deputy Dean’s Message to our valued student-teachers

My name is Troy Brown – the Deputy Dean responsible for student services. You are now an integral part of the Faculty of Education and Humanities (FEH) for your course of study at the University of Guyana (UG). My primary responsibility is to serve you. This responsibility ensures that your stay with us is a seamless one and you are able to navigate through the challenges that you may encounter.

With the powers that reside within me, specific to my responsibilities, I will ensure that you receive a quality education that is second to none. Please feel free to communicate with me any student matter that appears to be a challenge to you and together with my support team within the UG, we will facilitate your success. I consider you as the most valuable resource within our Faculty and endeavour to work tirelessly to ensure your matriculation.

Your questions and concerns are very important to me; hence, do not hesitate to make contact with me should you need any assistance. I encourage you to spend quality time with your studies. Keep in mind the words of Einstein, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
