Entry Requirements
Eligibility
All applicants must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. Work experience in a health-related field would be an asset.

- Three letters of recommendation from academic and professional sources
Potential applicants are advised that places in the Programme are limited and fulfilment of the entry criteria does not guarantee admission. Places will be awarded through a competitive selection process based on a combination of academic qualifications, work experience (demonstrated by the CV) and statement of purpose. An interview may be required.
Tuition & Fees
Guyanese students: GYD $1,000,000 (USD $5,000) per year
Foreign students: USD $7,500 per year
All students: GYD $50,000 (USD $250) Facilities Fee per year
University of Guyana residency criteria must be met to qualify for local tuition amount. Further information may be obtained from the Admissions Division.
Application Process
Apply directly by going to the Prospective Student link of the University of Guyana webpage: www.uog.edu.gy. Further instructions about submission of supporting documents and verification of transcripts will be provided on the application website.
Guyanese applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of G$1000. Foreign applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of US$10.00. Only applications for which the fee has been paid will be considered during the selection process.
