Holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in International Relations (Distinction) from the University of Guyana and a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge. He joined the faculty in 2004 and lectures in the Department of Government and International Affairs. He served previously as Coordinator for the Diploma in Public Management and Head of the Department of Government and International Affairs. He also lectures in the Institute of Human Resiliency, Strategic Security and the Future, and the Graduate School of the Social Sciences
