Yes, the library provides free internet access to all patrons. This is available in the Rabindranath Tagore Resource Center (RTRC).

 

There are various ways to contact a librarian. During regular library hours (8:30-4:30 M-F) you can call, chat, send an email or text a librarian. Food is strictly prohibited in the library. Drinking water (contained in plastic bottles or cups with covers) is allowed in the Library.

The cost of printing is as follows: Printing in Black and white is G$20.00 per page, Color printing is G$140.00 per page and Prints with Graphics is G$40.00 per page.

Yes, the library provides a printing service in the Rabindranath Tagore Resource Center (RTRC) and the Photocopying services are offered through the Circulation Department Please note that a cost is attached for those services to all patrons.

Books on loan to other readers may be reserved.  Reservation can be placed online by logging into your user account which is accessed through the Library’s portal. The reader shall be alerted when the book is available via email or telephone.  In the case of normal loans, books should be collected within seven (7) days.

Access to the Reading areas and the physical book collections is currently closed to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, you can visit the library from Monday to Friday between 09:00h to 13:00 h and a staff member will deal with your request. The library will revert to its standard Opening hours when the University resumes its face-to-face mode.

Yes, you can. Currently enrolled UG students and staff may request to have items from other Libraries sent to Turkeyen Campus library for them. Just check the Library Online Public Access Catalog for holdings and availability, then fill out one of our Interlibrary Loan Request Forms for the type of material you need.

As an Undergraduate student you may borrow up to eight (8) items, two (2) of which are for reading room use only.  Postgraduate students may borrow up to twelve (12) items, two of which are for reading room use only.
