Wildlife Research Techniques Theoretical Lectures (March 5-9th, 2018)

Conducted at the University of Guyana with attendance varying from twenty to sixty (20-60) participants (depending on student schedules and course conflicts) that included University of Guyana faculty and students, as well as professional staff from natural resource agencies (Protected Areas Commission, Guyana Forestry Commission, Wildlife Conservation and Management Commission, National Museum). This course covers the theoretical foundation for animal taxonomy, evolution, and wildlife ecology. It includes a series of lectures and a practical component to provide hands on experience in designing wildlife studies and data collection techniques.
